Piecrcing process is the important process in the seamless tube production process. Piecrcing plug and mandrel are the key parts in the piecrcing process. The working life of piecrcing plug directly effects the production cost and production efficiency. Hotion produces many kinds of piecrcing plugs and mandrels to satisfy different working conditions.

        

        

The working condition of piecrcing plug is very scurviness. During the 

processs of piecrcing, piecrcing plug directly touches the steel tube 

inwall of high temperature under the steel tube reversed rotation. 

Piecrcing plug bears compressive stress, shear stress, surface 

friction force. The working temperature will be 900℃. In order to get 

good working performance, Hotion produces piecrcing plug with hot 

die forging. This could eliminate internal defects, make structure more 

dense, improve mechanical property.

         

               

                

The Piercer Rollers with the hardness of 50/56 HRC to keep the better

working performance. Hotion will offer best design as per the customers’

working condition.
